The combination with ProtectionPlus will further lower testing costs for healthcare practices, which given the reimbursement rate cuts and insurance issues, has become a primary focus for many Cardiology practices and hospital systems. Importantly, the combined company will have ample opportunities to offer even further savings to the provider as UND seeks to eliminate all excessive costs associated with nuclear stress testing, making nuclear stress testing both more affordable and profitable.
